JZ Began his career in Fall of 2012. Firstly picking up a camera to document adventures as he ventured outside of his hometown of Compton, CA in search for a new source of Light to spark his creativity.

After taking his hobby serious in 2014. He dropped out of Community College and went out to DTLA to pursue his passion. His camera navigated him to meeting some of his generations most talented artists like Photographing: Bone Thugs N Harmony, Ice Cube, & Compton’s own “The Game” and the late Nipsey Hussle.

In 2015 he began documenting for “The Container Yard” as they hosted renown Photographers, Graffiti Artists, and Muralist from all over the world like, OG SLICK, ESTEVAN ORIOL, JIM MCHUGH, DEFER, ROYYALDOG, D.R.E.W, ITSALIVING, ASHOPCREW, ZOUEH and Hundreds more.

In Late 2017 he co-founded “These Streets Magazine” with pioneering photographers in Los Angeles taking him across the country to showcase and give a platform for other likeminded photographers with a passion for documenting life in multitudes of communities and cultures. Over the years he produced a series of short docs focusing on the Homeless efforts in Los Angeles w/ United Way of Greater Los Angeles. and in during the pandemic 2020-2021 focused his efforts in Documenting Los Angeles Rampant Social Justice movement putting himself in the middle between law enforcement and civilians to share with the world a on the ground point of view of the changes in Los Angeles.

In Late 2020. He focused inward, documenting the passing of his late brother and late father who succumbed to the tribulations of a health care system unprepared for a global pandemic. Published in These Streets Magazine last issue: Embrace 2020. In 2022 he found himself in a pivitol transition in his life having to look for employment to support his new family with a son on the way. He stumbled across working for a real estate team based out of The Agency | Beverly Hills where he established his name in the Digital Marketing Space in Real Estate.

In 2023 he ventured on his own to start Woodbine Media with little to no money and turbulent time he created a system to be able to produce high quality and high volume of assets for some of Los Angeles most esteemed Properties.
